Seasonal Staff -Maintenance

Description:

Pine Orchard Camp Management is looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our campground maintenance team. This role helps keep the campground clean, safe, and welcoming for all visitors. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in hands-on work, this is a great opportunity.

Requirements:

• Must be 15 years of age or older
• Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting and/or bending for extended time
• Have reliable transportation

Qualifications:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Previous maintenance or landscaping experience is an asset (but not required)

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance of campground facilities (washrooms, camp owned cabins, dining hall, etc.)
• Clean and sanitize camp spaces regularly
• Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling
• Assist with basic landscaping (mowing, trimming, clearing debris)
• Test and maintain pool
• Report and help address maintenance issues
• Ensure safety standards are followed across the campground
• Provide friendly assistance to campers when needed
